Not sure which Mac you have? Open the Apple menu › About This Mac. A chip named Apple M1 or later is Apple silicon; a processor named Intel is Intel.
Installing
- macOS
- Open the disk image and drag Tomrade into Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a warning.
- Windows
- Run the installer and pick where Tomrade goes. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may stop it: choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Linux
- Make the AppImage executable with chmod +x and run it. Recent Ubuntu releases need libfuse2 first (libfuse2t64 on 24.04).
Then
- Sign in. Your account syncs your preferences and project list, never project content.
- Create a project and tell the assistant, in one sentence, what you're up to.
- Optionally, connect Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
